Project CO-ORDINATOR (Part-time / 16hrs per week)

We are recruiting for a part-time Project Co-ordinator to be part of leading a new partnership project we are launching in September with the North Hackney Neighbourhood Alliance (NHNA). The project is addressing the issue of housing through community organising that will provide long-term change to residents and the communities they live in.  

Post: Project Co-ordinator

Salary: £10,200 PA  FTE £25,500

Hours: 16 hours p/w

Location: Clapton Commons, 1 Clapton Terrace, London. E5 9BW

Clapton Commons Community Organisation is the lead partner for the project where the post holder will be employed. We are looking for an experienced project co-ordinator to come and join our organisation who is able to work flexible hours, be part of a small and dynamic team, has a passion for working in local neighbourhoods and has experience of working in Hackney or an equivalent urban setting.

If you have some spare time, skills and passion and want to meet people from your neighbourhood then please contact us with your ideas and availability.

We’re specifically looking for volunteers to support us across the following priority areas:

• Graphic Designer: Support with our print communication; practical visual design for local poster and flyer campaigns. This role will also contribute to evolving visual identity. (Contribution - 2hrs to 3.5hrs per week / Start-date - Sep 2022)

• Clapton Commons Community Meals: Support with our monthly meal in and around Clapton Common and new opportunities emerging within our network for food-based gatherings. Great opportunity for someone living close to Clapton Common.
  (Contribution - 8hrs per month / Next Community Meal 14th Sep 2022)
